¿Cuantos libros desearé? (plurals)

Yo deseo ir al (a + el) restaurante.
I want to go to the restaurant.
Deseamos comprar unos recuerdos.
We want to buy some souvenirs.

Another important irregular verb is Tener - to have.
I have=tengo I had=tuve
She has=tiene She had=tuvo
They have=tienen They had=tuvieron
We have=tenemos We had=tuvimos
Tener gets really strange in the future tense:
I will have=tendré
He will have=tendrá
They will have=tendrán
We will have=tendremos
Sometimes there will be two or more verbs in a sentence. In english we
would say... I need to go to the store to buy the fruit. Notice the three
verbs in that sentence 1) I need 2) to go 3) to buy. Notice also that
only the first verb is conjugated and the other two are infinitives. In
spanish we say.... Yo necesito ir a la tienda para comprar la fruta.
To speak about more than one noun we say the number then the noun with an s
added onto the end. For example: Un libro=one book but dos libros=two books.
To count above 15 we add the single digit onto the closest multiple of ten.
for example 18 is diez y seis (y is and). 39 is trienta y nueve. 61 is
sesenta y uno.
